Jun 20, 2008:
The Sir Francis Hotel in Green Point will be auctioned Monday 23 June at 12:00.
The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Sea Point Pavilion, Green Market Square and the Adelphi Centre are all within a 5km radius of the property.
This seven storey building was originally called Daventry Court. It then underwent substantial renovation to become The Sir Francis executive suites, a four star graded self catering establishment which catered to local and international visitors for 10 years. Recently, it has been employed as residential property but this came to an end on 30 April 2008. The building has R4-zoning and the buyer will be able to proceed with a development, or sectionalise. There are 28 large apartments, each with a bedroom, large kitchen, and bathroom. There is off-street parking from High Level Road as well as garages below. Plans are approved for increased bulk additions and extra parking.
The auction will be held at the The Table Bay Hotel, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
