Cape hotel scoops prestigious award

The Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Residence in Green Point was declared the Overall Winner of the Luxury Hotel Award for 2009 in the "All Suite" category. The World Luxury Hotel Awards was recently held at the world-renowned Lebua at State Tower Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
This award was established as a celebration of ultimate achievement in global hotel excellence, congratulating and recognising hotels that through superior guest satisfaction and outstanding distinction have created an exceptional international hotel.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards account for all categories in the Luxury Hotel industry and recognise hotels, lodges and resorts on the global front, that fall under the "luxury niche".
Commenting on the award the managing director of Cape Royale Luxury Hotel and Residence, Nathan Schmidt, said "this is not just an outstanding achievement for our entire team after just two years in business, but confirmation that world class hotel accommodation is available in Cape Town in the run-up to the World Cup".
