PARK Village Auctions will once again host a “mega” auction that will see the entire contents of a large chipboard plant being brought to market next month.
Although viewing will take place on foot, bidding will take place entirely online via PVA’s revolutionary online bidding platform, said PVA’s Paul Lendia, who oversees the process.
Chipboard plant to be auctioned includes a drying area, a 1981 Bison BKT20 consisting of wet flake pneumatic transport, a wet flake bucket elevator, a wet flake silo with extraction screw and sliding frame, a dryer in-feed conveyor, a dryer drum, a cyclone structure, an out-feed conveyor, a dust and oil burner, steel structures, Bison surface and core flake material bunkers and a PLC system.
Under the banner of a press system, a large collection of items will be auctioned, including a 1981 Diffenbacher type HPOG/NV, a 3.0 N/MM2 6.000X2 160mm single opening press consisting of a main press with hydraulic pressure system, a thermal oil heating system, electric cabinets, operation desks, and a PLC system.
Dosing, gluing and forming equipment will also go under the hammer.
Sanding line equipment comprising a 1978 Bison MSM 2K220 machine and Steinemann Nova 220k machine will also be made available.
“This auction is shaping up to be an auction of note and represents an excellent opportunity for chipboard orientated entities to obtain high quality equipment at good prices,” said Lendia.
Viewing by appointment will take place at Devin Doors located at 40 Van Eck Street, Chamdor, Krugersdorp from Tuesday until May 12 between 10am and 4pm daily (excluding public holidays and weekends).
Pre-bidding will start on May 5 at 8am and close on May 12. The auction will go live on May 13 at 10.30am and close at 2pm.
