PARK Village Auctions will soon bring to market assets stemming from the liquidation of a large medical supplies entity.
Stock to be auctioned include a large assortment of surgical disposables and medical devices comprising, among many related items, a variety of nonsterile gauze swabs, surgical face masks, protection sheets, beret caps, assorted surgical drapes, gloves, procedure trays and scalpel blades.
A large assortment of vehicles will be auctioned including Mercedes Benz Sprinters, Mercedes Benz Vito 113 CDIs, a Mercedes Benz Viano CD130, a Ford Ranger 1800 LDV and a Mitsubishi Canter 35.
A sizeable collection of quality office furniture and equipment will go under the hammer. Assets under this banner include executive desks, filing cabinets, computers, boardroom tables, leather suites, display cabinets, kitchen equipment, paintings, prints, canteen equipment and much more besides.
Miscellaneous items to be auctioned include a large assortment of industrial shelving and racking, pallet jacks, steel trolleys and a large generator.
Park Village Auctions’ Paul Lendia explains that given the nature of the business, the assets will be sold by way of two auctions to be held in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
In Johannesburg, the assets will be auctioned on site on Tuesday at 10.30am at 6 Meadowview Lane, Meadowview Business Estate, 242 Clulee Road, Linbro Park. Viewing is on Monday from 9am to 3pm.
In Cape Town, the assets will be auctioned on Thursday from 10.30am at unit 21 Tyger Junction Office Park, Junction Road, Parow Industria. Viewing is on Wednesday from 9am to 3pm.
Park Village Auctions has also been instructed by business practitioners to auction earthmoving equipment from Lonfin Mining Services on November 20 and 24 by way of timed online and onsite/live webcast auctions.
Assets to be auctioned via the timed platform include 2012 Komatsu HD465-7 rigid dump trucks, a fleet of Bell B30D and B40D ADTs, a fleet of Hitachi ZW250 and ZW310 wheeled loaders, a fleet of Shantui SL50 and SL60 wheeled loaders, Shantui SD32 dozers and Hitachi and Shantui excavators.
Earth-moving equipment to be auctioned via the onsite and live webcast auction on Monday at 10.30am include a fleet of Terex TR60 and TR45 rigid dump trucks, 2012 Komatsu HD465-7 rigid dump trucks, a fleet of Shantui SD32 dozers, a 2012 Kawasaki 115ZV wheeled loader and a fleet of Aquarock Dominator drill rigs.
Viewing of these assets will take place today at 12-14 Delta Street, Waterval East, Rustenburg, from 9am to 4pm.
Commenting on the split auctions, Park Village Auctions’ LeRoy Augustyn says they offer the best of both worlds in that those who want to “kick the tyres” can bid either onsite or online. Given the generic function of the equipment, the auctions should appeal to a broad crosssection of buyers, he says.
