KUSENI DLAMINI has been appointed CEO of Old Mutual South Africa (OMSA), the group said today. The formal announcement came a day after Dlamini's resignation from his post of CEO at Anglo American SA.
Dlamini will replace present OMSA CEO Paul Hanratty who has been promoted to the company's London office.
"We followed an extensive search process internally and externally and we are delighted to make this appointment," Hanratty said.
Taking up his new role on September 1, Dlamini will be based at the company's head office in Sandton, Johannesburg and will report to Hanratty, OMSA said.
"We welcome Kuseni Dlamini to the Old Mutual Group. He brings wide business experience and fresh strategic and transformation insights. We look forward to benefiting from his leadership of the OMSA business unit," said Julian Roberts, group chief executive.
