Braamfontein gets more of a facelift
2006-08-24
THE regeneration of Braamfontein, Johannesburg, is enjoying a further boost with Danaug Investments unveiling the first component of its Bridge precinct development.
The development consists of three properties offering 4000m² of office and retail space, as well as two vacant stands, which form parking.
Danaug has refurbished the first of the three properties, on the corner of Smit and De Beer streets.
The first tenants in the new development, Ayanda Solutions, a black-empowered office furniture firm, will occupy 800m² in what was originally a hotel built in 1906.
Total investment in the five properties that make up the precinct will be about R20m.
