In recent weeks Pam Golding Commercial leasing and sales director Seamus Daly has concluded transactions regarding the sale and lease of industrial property in the areas of Epping, Maitland and Airport in the Cape Town metro to the value of R26 million.
Included in these is a 3875sqm industrial warehouse property situated in Gunners Circle, Epping, sold for R10.5 million to an owner/user for an engineering operation. Other transactions include properties located in new development projects such as Airport City and Airport Industria.
Comments Daly: "We are currently experiencing numerous enquiries for industrial property in these areas, with a strong resurgence of interest in the areas of Epping and Ndabeni in particular."
"The strongest demand is for property to purchase, at prices ranging from R3 500-R4 500 per square metre, and larger premises ranging from 2 500 to 10 000sqm are most sought after. Properties to rent in these areas range between R28 to R35 per square metre."
